Guins Head to William and Mary; Navy For Dual Matches

The Youngstown State men's tennis team plays two contests on the road this week visiting William and Mary on Friday and Navy on Saturday.
First serve against William and Mary is set for 5 p.m. at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center in Williamsburg, Va., while the match against Navy starts at 1:30 p.m. at the Tose Family Tennis Center in Annapolis, Md.
The Penguins (3-2) dropped a pair of matches last week losing at Creighton and Omaha. Leading the way in singles play was Nathan Favier who earned two wins at the No. 1 spot in the lineup.
It marks the third straight year that YSU will take on Navy. The Guins beat the Midshipman 6-1 last year after dropping a 4-3 decision in Annapolis in 2022. It will be the first-ever match between the Penguins and Tribe.
