Penguins Set to Host Western Michigan; Visit Toledo

The Youngstown State women's tennis team plays host to Western Michigan on Friday at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center and visits Toledo on Sunday. First serve against the Broncos is set for 11 a.m. while first serve against the Rockets is 1 p.m.
The Penguins dropped a tough 4-3 decision at Ball State last Friday. Winning singles contests for the Guins were Julia Marko and Yeseniia Ovcharova. The Guins won two doubles contests to earn the point.
In singles play, Lorena Cedeno leads the Guins with four wins this spring. YSU has been solid in doubles play this spring winning 15 of 26 contests.
WMU enters the match on Friday with a 6-2 record which includes wins over Chicago State and Oakland. Toledo is 4-3 and travels to Duquesne on Friday before playing host to YSU at the Twos Athletic Club.
This is the first contest between YSU and WMU since Feb. 15, 2013, a 4-3 YSU victory. The Guins' last win at Toledo was on Jan. 28, 2006.
