Penguins Visit Ball State For Friday Contest

The Youngstown State women's tennis team travels to Muncie, Ind., on Friday to face Ball State. First serve against the Cardinals at the Northwest YMCA is set for 5 p.m.
The Penguins picked up an impressive 6-1 win over Bowling Green in their most recent match. YSU won the doubles point while Julia Marko (No. 1), Elinor Beazley (No. 2), Lorena Cedeno (No. 3), Yeseniia Ovcharova (No. 5), Line Greyling (No. 6) collected singles victories.
Last year, YSU dropped a 6-1 contest at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center on Feb. 11. The Penguins' last win over Ball State was on Feb. 24, 2018.
Earlier this season Ball State dropped a 6-1 contest to Cleveland State and defeated Oakland, 5-2, this past Sunday.
YSU is back at home next Friday for a match against Central Michigan.
