YSU Makes Annual Trip to Vegas For Three Matches

The Youngstown State women's tennis team travels to Las Vegas for three matches in three days at UNLV's Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The Penguins (1-2) will play matches against Pacific (Friday), Weber State (Saturday) and UNLV (Sunday) all with first serves of 1 p.m. Eastern/10 a.m. Pacific time.
YSU opened the season with three home matches. The Guins beat Niagara in their opener before dropping contests to Big East members Butler and Georgetown.
Elinor Beazley leads the Guins so far this spring with a pair of singles wins. In doubles, YSU is 7-2 this spring and won the point in all three contests.
YSU lost contests to Pacific and Weber State last year on its Vegas trip while the final match vs. UNLV was canceled because of high winds.
The Penguins have played in Las Vegas in each of the last eight campaigns.
