The Youngstown State men's swimming and diving program will send four swimmers to this week's Toyota U.S. Open Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C.

Freshman Poyraz San Askin will compete in the 1650 free, Freshman Lorenz Beck is set to compete in the 100 butterfly, Freshman Jacob Gramer will compete in the 50 free and also the 100 butterfly with Beck, and Junior James Slessor will compete in the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke.

San Askin will compete in the 1650 free finals Saturday afternoon. His entry time for the event is 16:02.72.

Beck and Gramer will compete in the 100 butterfly prelims Friday morning. Gramer's entry time for the event is 47.32, and Beck's entry time is 47.65.

Gramer will also compete in the 50 free Thursday morning. His entry time for the event is 20.28.

Slessor will compete in the 100 breaststroke prelims Friday morning. His entry time for the event is 54.33. He will also compete in the 200 breaststroke prelims, which are set to take place Saturday morning. His entry time for the event is 1:59.84.

The preliminary rounds for each morning are set to begin at 9 a.m.

The finals for each event will take place in the evening session of the day in which the preliminary rounds occur.
