The Youngstown State baseball team's scheduled non-conference home game against Kent State, which was scheduled for April 19, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Penguins and Golden Flashes will not meet for the second time this season. The two teams played earlier in the campaign on March 7 at Olga Mural Field at Schoonover Stadium in Kent, Ohio. The Penguins will return home to Eastwood Field on April 25 to host Akron for a non-conference contest at 5 p.m.

Youngstown State will be back in action on Friday when it begins a three-game Horizon League series at Wright State at 3 p.m. The Penguins and Raiders will proceed to play on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. The games on Friday and Sunday will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
