Penguins Travel To DC To Face Georgetown

The Youngstown State men's tennis team visits Washington, D.C., this Saturday for a dual match at Georgetown. First serve against the Hoyas is set for 11 a.m.
YSU picked up three home wins last week beating SFU-Brooklyn (4-3), Duquesne (7-0) and Navy (6-1) improving to 4-3 on the season. All three wins came in the friendly confines of the YSU Indoor Tennis Center.
On the homestand, Laurentiu Mandocescu, David Alvarez Moreno, Nathan Favier and Javi Pla each had three singles victories. Favier leads the Penguins with five wins so far this spring.
The Hoyas (3-2) play a match with Richmond on Friday before playing host to the Guins.
YSU dropped a 5-2 decision to Georgetown last year.
