Penguins Travel To Vegas For Three Contests

This week, the Youngstown State Women's Tennis Team will be West Coast bound as they take on three matches in three days. On Friday, the girls will take on Pacific, on Saturday, Weber State, and to finish off the weekend, UNLV on Sunday.
The first serve of each match is set to begin at 1 p.m. Eastern time all three days at the Fertitta Tennis Complex. YSU is 1-1 and Weber State is 1-2 while Pacific and UNLV are each opening their dual seasons this week.
Going into the matches this week, the Guins picked up a victory against Carnegie Mellon last week with a 5-2 win. Jessica Stanmore leads the Guins with a singles win streak of 2-0, while Eliska Masarikova and Elisa Rigazio lead the Guins with a doubles win streak of 2-0.
The Guins beat Weber State for the first time last year and have played three all-time matches against the Wildcats. The Penguins have dropped all seven all-time contests against the Rebels, but dropped a tough 4-3 decision in 2022. YSU's last and only contest against Pacific was on March 9, 2014.
