Divers Set to Compete at Three-Day West Virginia Invite

The Youngstown State men's and women's diving programs will compete at the three-day West Virginia Invite in Morgantown, W. Va. at the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park beginning on Thursday.
Diving events that the invite will feature include the men's and women's one-meter, three-meter, and platform dives. The action is set to begin with the men's three-meter prelims and consolations at 11 a.m. on Thursday followed by the women's one-meter prelims and consolations. Finals for both events will take place at 6:15 p.m.
On Friday, the Penguins will compete in the women's three-meter prelims and consolations at 11 a.m. before the men take on the one-meter dive. Qualifiers for the finals in these events will dive again at 6:15 p.m.
The final day of diving on Saturday will be devoted to the platform dive with all men's and women's entrants diving in the finals at 12:30 p.m.

Last Time Out
The divers last competed in the Penguins' meet against Horizon League opponent Cleveland State at the Busbey Natatorium in Cleveland, Ohio.
YSU swept the women's diving events with Dasha Toth picking up the three-meter win with a score of 230.70 and Hanna Held earning the one-meter victory, scoring a 258.00.
Held also finished second in the three-meter with a score of 227.55 while Emma Schum scored a 218.63 to finish fourth. In the one-meter, Schum and Toth finished fourth and fifth with scores of 200.48 and 197.25, respectively.
On the men's side, Zachary Lao led the squad by finished runner-up in the one-meter dive, delivering a score of 242.40, and also placing third in the three-meter dive with a score of 244.80.
Simon Iwanonkiw finished fourth in both the one- and three-meter dives with scores of 223.20 and 244.20, respectively.
