Marko Picks Up Win as YSU Falls to Long Beach State

Long Beach, Calif. - The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Long Beach State on Friday at the Rhodes Tennis Center.

In singles play, Julia Marko earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 3 over Sheena Masuda.

YSU (5-8) dropped the doubles point to The Beach (6-4) at the outset of the contest. LBSU won the other five singles contests in straight sets.

The Penguins return home to take on Duquesne in their final non-league match of the season next Friday. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
