Penguins Close Out Fall Tournament Campaign in California

The Youngstown State women's tennis team will conclude the fall portion of their schedule with matches at the CSUN Fall Invitational in Northridge, Calif.
The Penguins will have singles and double matches against schools such as Idaho, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Fullerton, Pacific, UC Irvine, San Jose State, Utah State, Westmont, Portland State and Sacramento State.
Matches start at 9 a.m. Pacific/Noon Eastern time each day at the Matador Tennis Complex.
YSU has participated in the event in four of the past five seasons. The annual tournament appearance has marked the conclusion of the fall campaign in each of those four years.
For the Guins this fall, Julia Marko and Cecilia Rosas have led the way in singles play with each posting a 7-3 overall record. Jessica Stanmore has won five matches while Lili Minich has earned four victories. In doubles, Marko, Minich and Stanmore each have six wins while Eliska Masarikova and Rosas has five.
