
Loudtragulngam Paces Penguins in Fall Finale at Lady Blue Hen Invitational

Junior Titita Loudtragulngam finished tied for 18th individually to lead the Youngstown State women's golf team to a ninth-place finish on Sunday in the Lady Blue Hen Invitational at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
The Penguins concluded their final fall tournament with a three-round team total of 920, which ranks as the 10th-lowest 54-hole performance in program history. On Saturday, YSU posted team rounds of 308 and 309 in the first two rounds, respectively. The Guins closed out the event with a 303 in the final round on Sunday.
Loudtragulngam fired a three-round score of 227 (77-78-72) to collect her fifth top-25 finish in as many tournaments this fall. The junior's opening-round 77 featured 11 pars and a birdie on the par-five No. 4 while her second-round 78 included 11 pars and a birdie on the par-four No. 16. Loudtragulngam matched her career-low round with an even-par 72 in the final round that featured 12 pars and three birdies. The Chonburi, Thailand, native made par or better on nine of her first 10 holes during the final session.
Danae Rugola finished tied for 31st with a three-round total of 230 (75-79-76). The senior's first-round 75 included 11 pars and a pair of birdies as she carded an even-par 36 on the back nine. Rugola's second-round 79 featured nine pars and a birdie in the par-five No. 13 while her final-round 76 featured 11 pars and two birdies. The Uniontown, Pa., native recorded a one-under-par 35 on the front nine while making par or better on 13 of her final 15 holes during the final session.
Puthita Khuanrudee finished tied for 45th with a three-round 234 (80-76-78). The fifth-year senior's first-round 80 included nine pars and a birdie on the par-four No. 6 while her second-round 76 featured 10 pars and a pair of birdies. Khuanrudee's final-round 78 saw her card seven pars and three birdies.
Madie Smithco finished tied for 49th with a three-round score of 235 (80-76-79). The junior's opening-round 80 included nine pars and a pair of birdies while her second-round 76 featured 14 pars. Smithco's final-round 79 included 11 pars and a birdie on the par-four No. 15.
Lizzie Saur finished tied for 51st with a three-round total of 236 (76-83-77). The sophomore's first-round 76 featured 12 pars and a birdie on the par-three No. 14. The Grove City, Ohio, native made par or better on 12 of her final 14 holes during the opening round. Saur's final-round 77 included 10 pars and two birdies.
Dartmouth won the tournament title by 11 strokes at 16 over par with a three-round team score of 880. Harvard was the runner-up with an 891, Delaware and Penn each posted an 897 to tie for third and Seton Hall rounded out the top five with a 904. Dartmouth's Sophie Thai earned medalist honors by five strokes at six under par with a three-round 210 (69-72-69).
Youngstown State will now pause from competition until the start of its spring season. YSU's full spring slate will be announced in the near future.
