Weiskopf Places in Top Eight in 1M, 3M at HL Championships

Indianapolis, Ind. -- Youngstown State divers Tess Weiskopf and Cody Thill competed in both the one and three-meter diving events on Monday and Tuesday at the Horizon League Swimming & Diving Championships hosted at the IU Natatorium.
Weiskopf appeared in the finals of both the one-meter and three-meter events. She posted a score of 210.30 to finish eighth in the one-meter finals and had a score of 231.00 to also finish eighth in the three-meter finals. In the prelims of the three-meter, she had a score of 231.20 and posted a score of 214.35 in the one-meter prelims.
Thill finished 10th in the one-meter dive and 11th in the three-meter dive. On Monday, Thill scored a 230.60 in the one-meter dive for his 10th place finish. It was Thill's first appearance at the Horizon League meet. On Tuesday, he posted an 11th-place finish in the one-meter dive with a score of 226.35.
The swimming portion of the Horizon League Championships begins on Thursday at 9 a.m.
