Penguins Conclude Vegas Trip With 4-1 Loss to FAU

Las Vegas, Nevada - The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Florida Atlantic on Sunday at the Fretitta Tennis Complex.
The Penguins won the doubles point in the match with wins at No. 1 and No. 2. But the Owls earned four singles wins in straight sets to earn the victory.
At No. 1 doubles, Elvira Esteo and Cecilia Rosas earned a 6-3 victory while at No. 2 doubles, Tamara Teufl and Eliska Masarikova picked up a 6-4 win. The match at No. 3 doubles was tied 5-all when the Penguins clinched the point.
The Owls (4-1) earned singles wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6 to win the match.
The Guins (1-4) return to action on Saturday when they play host to Indiana (Pa.) at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
