YSU Heads To Denison For Second Meet in Eight Days

The Youngstown State men's swimming and diving team returns to the pool on Saturday afternoon with a dual against Denison at the Trumbull Aquatic Center in Granville, Ohio. Saturday's contest is set for a 1 p.m. start.
YSU was last in action against Gannon last Friday at the Beeghly Natatorium. The men beat the Golden Eagles, 166-130.
Highlighting the efforts for the Penguins was newcomer Soma Albert who set school records in the 100 back and the 200 back in the meet. Ben Gingher won three events to lead the effort. while newcomers Christopher Barton, Rares Druga and Albert had strong performances as well.
Senior diver Christian Wilson won the 3-meter dive while placing second in the 1-meter dive.
