Penguin Head To Valparaiso For Saturday Meet

The Youngstown State women's and men's swimming and diving teams return to action in a tri-meet on Saturday against Valparaiso and Green Bay at the Valparaiso Aquatic Center. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m.
The Penguins last competed on Saturday against Gannon. Both the men and women had a strong performance, beating Gannon with a combined score of 389-201. The men earned a 215-79 victory, and the women won with a 174-122. YSU won all four diving events with Cody Thill winning the events for the men, and Tess Weiskopf picking up victories for the women.
Hailey Clark won the 1000 free and 200 breaststroke, and Olivia Wilcox won both the 100 and 200 backstroke. For the men, Aleksa Radenovic picked up victories in both the 100 and 200 backstroke while David Nacarino Campos won both the 100 and 200 breaststroke.
