What is your current location?
Leechburg, Pennsylvania
How are you keeping your mind on swimming?
Staying in touch with coaches and the team.
What are you doing to stay in shape (working out, running)?
At home workouts in my basement and cycling class.
How have you looked at things differently in the past two weeks?
I think it's a reality check for a lot of people and be fortunate of what you have and who is around you.
What is going to be the toughest thing about not physically going to class?
Online class is hard to form peers that are going through the same process as you and you do. It tough to get out as much as you would in class physically learning.
How has dealing with the current circumstances brought your team together?
Just checking in with someone and knowing that you are there for them at this time!
What makes you most excited for next year?
That I can possibly get a fifth year and help out with the team and be on the side of coach Brad! Giving back!
What do you enjoy the most about being at YSU?
How supportive the academic and athletic administration strive for the same goal to be the best we can be as students and athletes!
What are do you need to improve upon the most?
Spending time with my family and loved ones!
How often do you FaceTime your teammates? What do you guys talk about?
We use a team Snapchat message that everyone can see and snap or text to communicate.
Have you learned anything about yourself during this?
It is important to listen and trust the people who are handling the virus and really use this time to get ahead with school and visiting with family!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of your sport? Long walks and baking!
If you weren't a swimmer or diver, what sport would you like to do? Cycling
Who on your team has organized any kind of group chats?
Everywhere the team just adds people (freshman). And take out people who graduated.
