Teufl, Esteo Earn Wins Against Eastern Michigan

Tamara Teufl and Elvira Esteo picked up wins for the Youngstown State women's tennis on Sunday afternoon against Eastern Michigan. The Penguins dropped their match to the Eagles, 5-2, at the Avalon Athletic Club of Boardman.
At No. 1 singles, Teufl was a 7-6, 6-4 winner over Marie Mayerova while at No. 4, Esteo picked up a 6-2, 6-4 victory against Emma-Lou Pommiers.
At No. 3, Lucia Zagar dropped a tough 6-7, 6-4, 7-6 decision to Isabelle Popma.
The Penguins return to action on Sunday when the visit UC-Riverside as they will spend Spring Break in California.
