
Penguins Take On Niagara In First Road Dual

Niagara University, N.Y. - The Youngstown State men's swimming and diving team competed against Niagara on Saturday afternoon at the Oxy Aquatic Center.
YSU opened the meet winning the 400-yard medley with a time of 3:40.00 led by Nolan Dennes, Brandon Cheong, Wilson Cannon and Duncan Moss.
Cannon won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.04 out-touching Niagara's Noah Brooks by 1.81 seconds. Cannon took second place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.77 seconds.
Moss on the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.11 seconds. Ryan Scherer won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:05.65 taking first by just under a second.
Choeng was second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.70 and the 200 IM with a time of 2:05.12.
In the 400-yard freestyle relay, YSU posted a time of 3:21.92.
Niagara won the dual by a score of 124-91.
The Penguins are next in action on Nov. 22-24 when they compete at the Magnus Cup hosted by Cleveland State.
