Penguins Open Season at Marshall on Saturday

The Youngstown State women's swimming and diving team opens its 2019-20 dual slate on Saturday afternoon at Marshall at the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium in Huntington, W. Va.
First-year Head Coach Brad Smith will be making his YSU debut against the Thundering Herd.
YSU returns divers Tess Weiskopf and Kayla Wrasman. In the swimming events, the Penguins return Aida Jurinovics, Tiphaine Saint-Gilles, Casey Prentice, Mallory Pitstick, Paris Krug, Taci Miller and Taylor Bishop who all rank in the top five in school history in various disciplines.
The meet against Marshall is the first for the Penguins since Oct. 19, 2012. YSU is next in action in Pittsburgh against Duquesne and Pitt on Oct. 12.
