
Women's Swimming & Diving Falls to Toledo

The Youngstown State women's swimming and diving team dropped a dual meet to Toledo, 205-90, on Saturday afternoon at the Beeghly Natatorium.
Aubrey Whitaker and Casey Prentice each picked up event victories in the 200-yard freestyle and 50-yard freestyle, respectively. Whitaker captured the win in the 200-yard free with a time of 1:55.70 while Prentice recorded a time of 24.79 seconds in the 50-yard free.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Taylor Bishop, Prentice, Hannah Olger and Whitaker won its event with a time 1:39.41.
Whitaker also finished second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.15, and Mallory Pitstick earned a pair of second-place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:09.57 and the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:28.97.
Tess Weiskopf led the Penguins in diving finishing second in the one-meter dive with a score of 227.85 and third in the three-meter dive with a score of 206.70.
Aida Jurinovics also came in second in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:11.04.
The Penguins return to action when they host Ball State, Friday, Oct. 25, at the Beeghly Natatorium.
