Penguins Cruise to 7-0 Win Over Green Bay

The Youngstown State women's tennis picked up a 7-0 win over Green Bay on Saturday afternoon at the YSU Tennis Courts. Seniors Annina Brendel and Victoria Ferry earned wins on Senior Day for the Guins.
YSU (7-11 overall and 5-1 in the Horizon League) won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Dominika Lackova won 6-3, 6-0 and No. 1, Brendel picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 2, Noelly Nsimba earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3, Nehel Sahni posted a 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 4, Ana Stroe won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 while Ferry crusied to a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 6.
In doubles play, Sahni and Nsimba won 6-3 at No. 1 and Lackova and Macias were also victorious 6-3 at No. 2.
The Penguins return to action tomorrow at noon when they entertain Milwaukee. The match will be held at the YSU Tennis Courts.
