Game Preview
• The Youngstown State men's basketball team returns home for a brief stint when it hosts UMKC, Wednesday, Nov. 26.

About UMKC
• UMKC enters the game with an overall record of 2-3 and has lost its last two games to Arkansas-Little Rock, 73-68, and Samford, 64-54.
• The Kangaroos opened the season with a win over Missouri, 69-61, on Nov. 14.
• Leading the Kangaroos is Martez Harrison, who is averaging a team-high 18.4 points per game.

• This is the 22nd meeting between Youngstown State and UMKC in a series that dates back to 1989.

• Youngstown State Head Coach Jerry Slocum ranks among the best in the history of college basketball in terms of overall wins.
• Slocum ranks 37th all-time with 691 career victories eighth among active Division I coaches in all-time wins.
• Slocum is also just one of two NCAA Division I head coaches that are in their 40th year as a head coach. The other is Duke's Mike Krzyzewski.

• As of Nov. 23, Youngstown State Head Coach Jerry Slocum ranks third among active NCAA Division I coaches in games coached.
• Slocum, who has coached in 1,187 career games, is behind Duke's Mike Krzyzewski with 1,294 and Syracuse's Jim Boeheim with 1,238.
DJ the Distributor
• Senior point guard DJ Cole continues to impress with his ball distribution.
• Cole has 7.0 assists per game and has 42 assists in just six games.
• Cole tied a career-high with 12 assists against Longwood and recorded his second career double-double with 18 points.
Keene Hits For Career High, Again
• For the second time in a week, sophomore Marcus Keene scored a career high.
• Keene, who was named to the EMU Showcase All-Tournament Team, scored a career-high 28 points with career-best six 3-pointers made against UNCG on Nov. 23.
• His previous high was 24 against Central Michigan on Nov. 18.
Hain Ties Career High
• Sophomore Bobby Hain posted his second 20-point game of the season against UNCG on Nov. 23.
• That output tied his career-scoring high of 20 against Oberlin on Nov. 16.
Guins Heating Up Perimeter
• The Penguins are picking up the tempo from the 3-point line as of late.
• Over the last four games, the Penguins have made 28 3-pointes for an average of seven per game.
• The Penguins made nine against UNCG on Nov. 23.
• YSU made eight in consecutive games against Central Michigan on Nov. 18 and Eastern Michigan on Nov. 21.
Mr. 300
• With 12 assists against Longwood on Nov. 22, senior DJ Cole became the eighth player in school history to record at least 300 assists.
• Cole ranks seventh all-time with 310 assists and needs 16 more to move into sixth place.
• Cole also ranks fifth in career assists in YSU's Division I era.
Five and Dime
• In the 82-72 win over Longwood, five players scored in double figures.
• Seniors Shawn Amiker and DJ Cole each had 18 points, junior Bobby Hain scored 15, and sophomore Jalon Plummer and Marcus Keene had 13 and 11, respectively.
Hain Posts Double-Double, Again
• For the second time in five games, junior Bobby Hain recorded a double-double with 15 points and a season-high 12 rebounds against Longwood on Nov. 22
• It marked the 11th double-double of Hain's career.
