
Casey Hill Places 27th at Zone C Diving Championships

West Lafayette, Ind. - Youngstown State senior diver Casey Hill placed a career-best 27th in the three-meter event at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships held at Purdue's Boilermaker Aquatic Center on Thursday.
Hill finished with a six-dive total of 249.50 to place 27th and finish ahead of 28 other competitors. Hill's previous best finish at the meet was 36th, also in the three-meter, during her freshman campaign in 2010.
Freshman Bec Stafford was in action as well on Thursday. Stafford finished 49th with a score of 207.75 in the first Zone C meet of her career.
Both Hill and Stafford will be in action on Friday when they compete in the one-meter competition. The event is set to start at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
