Program Receives CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award

The Youngstown State swimming and diving program has received a Scholar All-America Team Award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for their academic performance during the spring semester.
As a team, the Penguins posted a cumulative 3.34 grade-point average in the 2011 Spring Semester.
The CSCAA presents the Team Scholar All-America Award to swimming and diving programs who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
YSU was one of 99 schools to have a 3.00 or higher, but ranked in the top 46 overall.
