The Youngstown State swimming and diving team fell to Marshall on Saturday at Beeghly Natatorium, 172-128.
Casey Hill, junior, continued her 2011-2012 winning streak earning first place in both the one- and three-meter dives. Her scores were 298.27 and 290.40, respectively. In the three-meter, she could have won the event without attempting the last dive.
Senior Kirstin Walker took first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.07. She also earned second in the 50 and 200 free with times of 25.60 and 1:58.84, respectively.
Junior Sam Roberts also earned one first place and two second place finishes. She captured first in the 200 breaststroke clocking 2:26.12. She also took second in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.19) and 200 IM (2:16.77).
Nishani Cicilson, senior, took first in the 50 free (24.74) and second in the 100 free (54.24). Freshman Ashley Dow finished in first place in the 200-yard backstroke clocking a time of 2:12.50 and third in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:04.06.
Laura Paz earned second place in two of her events, the 100 (1:00.93) and 200 (2:11.63) butterfly. Liseli Baich, junior, finished third in the 100 breast with a time of 1:11.71.
The Penguins host a dual meet Friday Nov. 11, against Cleveland State and Duquesne at 4 p.m.
