Casey Hill and Samantha Roberts Named HL Athletes of the Week

Indianapolis, Ind. -- Sophomores Casey Hill and Samantha Roberts were named Horizon League Athletes of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday. Roberts was tabbed the Swimmer of the Week, while Hill was the HL's Diver of the Week.
Roberts, a native of Spencer, Ind., won all three events she competed in on Friday against Ohio University. She beat six competitors in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.51) and 200 backstroke (2:25.12) and took first out of eight in the 400 individual medley (4:53.79).
Hill, from Bethlehem, Pa., has earned her fifth diver of the week award for the 2010-11 season placing second out of eight in both diving events on Friday. In the 1-meter dive she earned a 248.17 and scored a 253.58 in the 3-meter.
The Penguins close out the home swimming and diving dual portion of their schedule on Saturday at 1 p.m. YSU plays host to Akron and Saint Francis (Pa.) at the Beeghly Natatorium. Admission is free and the meet will be broadcast on the Horizon League Network.
