Swimming & Diving Program To Host 'Learn to Swim' Classes

The Youngstown State swimming and diving program is hosting "Learn to Swim" Classes for children ages 4-10 on five dates in October at the Beeghly Center Natatorium.
The Penguins will hold classes on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 6-6:50 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 6-6:45 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11 from 6-6:45 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 6-6:45 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 18 from 6-6:45 p.m. Participants are asked to arrive five minutes prior to their session. This clinic is only open to children of YSU faculty/staff and students.
During the clinic, the student-athletes will teach youngsters swimming basics while offering a positive experience for the campus community youth.
The registration deadline is Sept. 25 or until all 40 spots in each have been filled. All participants should come in appropriate swimming attire and bring a towel and goggles (if preferred.)
