Boscaljon Leads Penguins to Split at Robert Morris Invitational

Boscaljon had nine kills and four blocks, and Youngstown State had
six aces to defeat Robert Morris in straight sets on Friday at the
RMU Invitational.
The Penguins, who earlier dropped their
match with Elon, also benefitted from seven Robert Morris serving
errors.
YSU won each set by at least five against
the Colonials, taking the first and third sets 25-20 and the second
25-19.
Kaitlin O'Hara and Tasha Reid had three
kills apiece, and Haley Kapferer had five blocks. Laurie Shives and
Amanda Gray added two service aces. YSU had 12 total blocks.
Elon hit .327 as a team and carried
momentum from a 26-24 victory in the first set to 25-19 and 25-17
wins in the final two sets.
Boscaljon had eight kills while Kapferer
had seven terminations and three blocks. Barbosa added seven kills,
and Reid had six kills and three blocks.
The Penguins will play Saint Peter's
(N.J.) on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
