Boscaljon Leads YSU to Program's 400th Win in Five-Game Victory Over Valparaiso

Valparaiso, Ind. -- Ruth Boscaljon hammered 18 kills with six blocks and a .485 hitting percentage to lead the Youngstown State volleyball team (7-10, 1-5 Horizon League) to its first Horizon League win of the season with a 30-22, 19-30, 30-11, 27-30, 15-12 decision over Valparaiso (13-5, 4-2 Horizon League) on Wednesday evening.
Senior Jessica Fraley drilled 13 kills with five blocks while junior Ebony Barbosa posted a double-double with 10 kills and sophomore Allison Heinz added 10 kills and four blocks with a .364 hitting percentage.
The Penguins host Loyola, Friday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. at the Beeghly Center.
