Tim Stuart serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations in the Youngstown State Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. He has been a member of the department since April 2006, and he previously served as the Athletic Department's Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Facilities and Programs from 2011-2021.
In his current role, Stuart provides broad oversight over facilities management, business operations, ticket and game management, sales, development, and marketing. Stuart also serves as the sport supervisor for Men’s and Women’s Tennis.
In his role in facilities, Stuart oversaw the Watson and Tressel Training Site and coordinates all activities within the facility. He handled scheduling for all of YSU's on-campus athletic facilities, worked with sports camps and handled various other duties.
Stuart was formerly the Director of Ticket Operations for the Penguins, a position he held for four years.
Stuart joined the department on a full-time basis in April 2006 as the Director of Marketing and Promotions before moving into the Athletic Ticket Office a year later.
He previously interned in various capacities in the department as an undergrad. After starting in the football office, he spent the next two years as an assistant coordinator for Athletic Marketing. He assisted in the day-to-day operations of the marketing and promotions department, handled game-management duties and worked on group and youth ticket sales.
He also spent two football seasons as a Scholarship Loge Assistant.
Following graduation, Stuart worked in the local sales force holding the title of Director of Regional Sales for the Gymnasium Equipment Company out of Canton. He also spent time in sales with Community Card Services, Biviano Carpet One and Millennium 3 Mortgage Group.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State in 2002 while earning a master's in Sports Management from Kent State University in 2003.
Tim and his wife, Jennifer, have a daughter, Molly and a son, Jackson.
