Kyle Kroynovich returned to his alma mater to become Coordinator of Business and Facility Operations in August 2018. He became the Athletics Business Manager in October 2021.
In his role as Athletics Business Manager, Kroynovich reviews and approves all athletic travels for staff and coaches, makes purchases for the department, assists in the oversight of the department’s budget and exercises oversight of the equipment room.
Kroynovich is no stranger to Youngstown State Athletics, having served as a volunteer and later an intern in the Sports Information/Athletics Communication office from 2012-17. He served on the stat crew for many sports, and his other game day responsibilities included facility setup, facilitating of interviews and filming of press conferences. Kroynovich also helped in publicity efforts for the department's teams and served as the official scorer at men's and women's basketball games. During his time, he was present for the football team's win at Pittsburgh in 2012, the baseball team's trip to the NCAA Bloomington Regional in 2014 and the football team's run to the FCS National Championship Game in 2016.
During his undergraduate experience, Kroynovich earned two full-time internships during tax season at Hill, Barth & King, LLC. He went on to join the financial services firm as an associate in January 2018 upon graduation. He prepared federal and state tax returns, tax plans and projection analysis for clients and performed audits for HBK.
Kroynovich earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State in May 2017, and he finished his master's in accountancy from YSU in May 2023.
