Eliza Facher joined the Youngstown State Sports Medicine family in July 2025 as a staff athletic trainer working primarily with the Penguins’ volleyball and track and field programs. She has also worked with the Penguins' men's tennis team during her tenure at YSU.
Before coming to Youngstown State, Facher worked at the University of Pittsburgh providing care for the Panthers’ baseball program and Carnegie Mellon University’s track and field student-athletes while completing her bachelor’s degree. She also worked with the Panthers’ volleyball program and Mt. Lebanon High School student-athletes while completing her master’s degree.
Facher received her Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Pitt in 2024, and she earned her Master of Science in athletic training from Pitt in 2025. Her professional interests include manual therapy and female student-athlete health awareness. In her free time, Facher enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and staying in touch with friends from her college athletic training program.
