Youngstown State University

Allyson "Ally" Ritchey joined the Youngstown State Sports Medicine family in June 2026 as a licensed athletic trainer. She primarily works with YSU's women's lacrosse and men's and women's diving programs.

Before coming to YSU, Ritchey worked at Saint Leo University, providing care to the men's lacrosse, volleyball and beach volleyball programs. 

Ritchey earned her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Kent State University in 2022 and her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina in 2024. Ritchey's professional interests include manual therapy, student-athlete mental health and injury rehabilitation. In her free time, Ritchey enjoys spending time with her dog, Rudy, trying new coffee shops, and seeing her friends and family.
