2013 (Junior): Competed in all eight meets…placed 12th at the Horizon League Cross Country Championship with a time of 26:24.39…helped lead the Penguins to place second overall at the Horizon League Championship…finished 12th in the Duquesne Duals 8k with a time of 27:01.9…placed 14th in the BGSU Mel Brodt Invitational with a time of 26:11.87 in the 8k race…placed 22nd with a time of 21:15 at the Tommy Evans Invitational…earned his third letter.
2012 (Sophomore): Competed in all five events...was the Penguins' best finisher at the Horizon League Championships placing 17th...completed the course in 26:04...was the top finisher for YSU by just over a minute...led the Penguins in scoring in all five meets...at the Duquesne Duals was 14th with a time of 27:48...at the Tommy Evans Invitational posted a time of 21:08 to finish 15th...was 18th at the Notre Dame Invitational running a time of 25:21...at the NCAA Pre-Nationals placed 109th with a time of 25:44.6...earned his second letter.
2011 (Freshman): Competed in all seven meets...at Horizon League Championships placed 31st with a time of 28:10 in the 8k...at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals was 144th with a time of 33:20...was YSU's second-best placer on five occasions...was 20th at the Duquesne Duals with a time of 28:03 in the 8k...was 23rd at the Akron Quad with a time of 21:32 in the four-mile meet...placed 72nd at the Penn State National (5.2 miles) with a time of 28:19...earned his first letter.
High School: Was a four-time letterwinner in track and cross country...set school record in the 1,600m (4:20) and the 3,200m (9:28.16)...qualified for State competition four times in cross country and three times in track...finished third at the 2009 State Cross Country Championships in a time of 16:17.17...won the 3,200m at the 2009 Track and Field State Championships...named to the All-Ohio Cross Country team four times...named to the All-Ohio Track team five times...track team won the 2009 State title, was four-time conference and District champions, and was two-time Regional champions..earned the OHSAA State Farm Scholar Athlete award...coach was Kevin Gorby...was also in the National Honor Society and the Eagle Scouts.
