2013-14 (Junior): Played in all 10 tournaments totaling 22 rounds…named to 2014 Horizon League All-Conference Team…Named to the 2014 Horizon League All-Tournament Team…finished second in the Horizon League Championships with a three-round score of 230…had rounds of 74, 82 and 74...fired a season-best 72 at the Toledo Classic and the IPFW Spring Classic…her duo of 72 18-hole round scores tied each other for the fourth lowest single round score in program history…compiled 1,718 strokes to arrive at a team-best 78.1 single round average…her 78.1 season average was good enough for fourth-best in program history behind only Samantha Formeck who had the top three averages…carded a 75 or below in seven of nine tournaments…tallied five top-five finishes…was the team’s top finisher in six tournaments…carded a 72 and 77 at the IPFW Spring Classic to finish in second place with a 149 two-round mark…placed second at the Cleveland State Invitational with a 150 36-hole score…concluded play in fourth place with a 160 two-round total at the Bulldogs Florida Invitational…tallied rounds of 80,72, and 77 to finish in fifth place with a 229 at the Rocket Classic…her 229 56-hole total at the Rocket Classic was good enough for the third best three-round mark in program history…placed sixth in the Red Flash Invitational with a 154 two-round score…earned her third letter.

2012-13 (Sophomore): Participated in all 11 tournaments and played in all 25 rounds...at the Horizon League Championships was 17th with a 244...had rounds of 83, 79 and 82 at the event...finish was a 10-spot improvement from her freshman year...posted a three-round 255 at the Lady Buckeye Invitational...was 11th at the Niagara Invitational with a two-round score of 164, including a second-round 78...led the team at the Bucknell Bison Invitational and finished ninth with a two-round 152...had rounds of 75 and 77 at the event...was the team's top finisher with a 25th-place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational...had a three-round 240, including a second-round 79 and final round 77...at the Dayton Fall Invitational, had rounds of 76 and 79 to card a 155...led the way at the MAC Fall Preview with a 161, including a final round 76...had a two-round 165 at the RMU Colonial Classic...finished ninth at the Cleveland State Invitational with a 160 (79-81)...was seventh at the Detroit Titans Fall Classic with a 152, which included an opening round 74...at the YSU Invitational was 13th with a 158 (82-76)...had three top-10 finishes and was the team's top finisher four times...had 13 rounds in the 70s...averaged 80.4 strokes per round...earned her second letter.

2011-12 (Freshman): Appeared in all 10 tournaments and played in all 22 rounds for the year...finished 27th in first appearance at Horizon League Championships with a 265...improved score each round and carded a low of 86 on the final day...recorded four top-10 finishes...burst on the scene winning collegiate debut at YSU Invitational...had a two-round 152 (79-73) to win by five shots...tied with three golfers for first place at the Niagara Invitational with a 163 (83-80)...lost the individual title for the event in a playoff...finished fourth at the Robert Morris Classic with a 166 (85-81)...was ninth at the Richmond Intercollegiate with a 231 (76-75-80)...had a two-round score of 162 at the Ball State Classic...fired a 164 (80-84) at the Cleveland State Invitational to finish 25th...was 25th at the Don Benbow Invitational in Florida with a 164...placed 27th at the Akron Invitational with a 168...was 28th at the NIU Snowbird Intercollegiate with a 165...averaged 81.8 strokes per round...low score was a second-round 73 at the YSU Invitational...earned her first letter.

HIGH SCHOOL: Finished 15th at the 2010 Pennsylvania Golf Championships...carded a two-round score of 166 (84-82) during the event...placed third in the District III Championships with a two-round score of 159 (80-79) and finished eighth (79) at the East Regionals...only girl on the boys team...had the second-best average in division (78 strokes per round)...two-time YAIAA champion...three-year East Regional participant and two-time state qualifier...was a four-year letterwinner...coach was Bill Ackerman...also played basketball and volleyball.

PERSONAL: Parents are Stacey and Eric Merling...has a brother (Eric)...major is business marketing...is the 2014-15 recipient of the Van Sickle Foundation Athletic Scholarship.
