Youngstown State University has been a big part of the lives of
Drs. Michael and Dianne Miladore, and the Penguin Club is honored
to celebrate these two highly-respected alumni and enthusiasts as
2011 Penguins of the Year.
The Miladores have made contributions to Youngstown State and
the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in numerous ways. The
Miladore Family Penguin Club Loge in Stambaugh Stadium offers
football fans a beautiful place to watch both Penguins football and
high school games. They have endowed the Drs. Dianne B. &
Michael J. Miladore Scholarship, which alternates between a male
and female student-athlete who is interested in majoring in
pre-medical studies.
Michael has worked as a team physician for the Department of
Athletics since 1989 and been a member of the YSU President’s
Council since 1997. Dianne served on the Penguin Club Board of

from 1996-97, and she was appointed to be a member of the

of Trustees Housing Corporation. The Miladores are both lifetime
members of the YSU Alumni Association and have been active members
of the Penguin Club.
