2016 Indoor (Senior): Finished eighth at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the weight throw...had a throw of 21.47 meters which earned him first-team All-America honors...only the third All-American in YSU Track and Field history...won the Horizon League Championship in the weight throw with a meet-record toss of 21.10 meters...also finished fifth in the shot put...set the school record in the weight throw of 21.78 meters at the Zips Invitational on Feb. 19.
2015 Outdoor (Junior): Was the champion in the hammer throw at the Horizon League Championship with a throw of 62.2m (205-05)...placed second in the discus throw with a season best throw of 48.07m (157-08) at the HL Championships...finished eighth in the shot put at the HL Championships with a season-best throw of 14.69m (48-02.50)...had a personal-best throw of 62.7m (205-08) in the hammer throw at the Campbell Wright Invitational.
2015 Indoor (Junior): Won the weight throw at the Horizon league Championships and broke the Horizon League weight throw record with a toss of 20.94 meters...finished sixth in the shot put at the HL Championships with a personal-best throw of 14.86 meters...was awarded Most Outstanding Field Performer of the HL Championships...ranked 24th in the weight throw with toss at Horizon League Championships...won the weight throw against Akron with a toss of 20.22m...won the weight throw with a then-school-record toss of 20.83m at the SPIRE Invitational...set a YSU National Invitational record with a toss of 19.98 meters...also won the weight throw at the SPIRE Midwest Invite with a toss of 19.99m...placed second in the weight throw at the YSU College Invitational...won the weight throw at the Spire Midwest Open...won the weight throw at the YSU National Invitational...won the weight throw at the SPIRE Division I Invitational...placed first in the weight throw at the Zips Invitational.
2014 Outdoor (R-Freshman): Finished 15th in the Hammer Throw at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships...posted a high mark of 63.61 meters (208-8 feet) at the event to earn second-team All-America status...qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the hammer throw with a school-record breaking throw of 66.19 meters at the NCAA East Preliminaries...placed fourth in the East...was the hammer throw champion at the Horizon League Championships registering a heave of 64.22 meters…named the Most Outstanding Field Performer at the HL Meet...set a then-YSU record in the hammer throw at the Virginia Campbell/Wright Open with a length of 65.26 meters…placed second in the discus throw at the league meet with a toss of 48.94 meters…set a season-best 50.04m discus throw at the Jesse Owens Classic…threw a season-best 42.25 meters in the javelin throw at the Coastal Carolina Invitational... Earned his first letter.
2014 Indoor (Sophomore): Won the Horizon League Championship in the weight throw with a toss of 20.26 meters...nearest competitor was at 18.44 meters in the event...placed 10th in the shot put with a heave of 13.49m...had a school-record setting toss of 20.40 meters in the weight throw at the Alex Wilson Invitational on Feb. 22...earned his first letter.
Kentucky: Competed for the Wildcats as a freshman in 2012-13...during the outdoor season, competed in the discus and hammer throw...season-best toss in the discus was 48.84 meters at the USF Bulls Invitational...season-best hammer throw was a 52.07-meter toss also at USF...granted a redshirt following the outdoor season...during the indoor slate competed in the shot put and weight throw...best shot put was 14.23 meters and best weight-throw toss was 17.54 meters...was 17th in the weight throw at the 2013 SEC Indoor meet (17.42m).
High School: Eleven-time letterwinner between track and field and wrestling...has the discus record at Midpark....in 2010 advanced to OHSAA Division I Track and Field Championship in discus and placed seventh with a toss of 170-11...as a wrestler, set the school record for most pins in a season.
Personal: Son of Michelle...is majoring in Physical Education...is the 2015-16 recipient of the Watson Family Scholarship.
