2016 Indoor (Senior): Took fourth in the high jump at the Horizon League Championships by clearing a height of 2.02 meters...helped the Penguins win the Horizon League Indoor Championships.

2015 Outdoor (Junior): Placed fourth in the high jump at the Horizon League Championships with a leap of 2.00m (6-06.75)...finished 14th in the long jump at the HL Championships with a jump of 6.06m (19-10.75)...had a personal-best high jump at the Cambell Wright Invitational with a jump of 2.09m (6-10.25)... achieved personal best in the long jump at Slippery Rock Invitational with a jump of 6.51m (21-4.25)...ran a personal-best in the 100m dash at the Northeast Ohio Invitational with a time of 12.15 seconds.

2015 Indoor (Junior): Finished fifth in the high jump at the Horizon League Championships with a height of 2.00 meters...had a season-best in the long jump at the HL Championships with a leap of 6.33 meters...season best in high jump was 2.03 meters at the YSU Icebreaker...placed third at the YSU College Invitational.

2014 Outdoor (Sophomore): Was the long jump champion at the Horizon League Championships with a season-best 6.71 meters leap…placed second in the high jump at the league meet with a height of 2.06 meters…advanced to the NCAA East Prelims in the high jump...placed 34th in first NCAA appearance at the NCAA East Prelims clearing the bar at 2.05 meters...set a season-best in the high jump at the Tennessee Relays presented by Sea Ray with a 2.10 meter mark…ran a season-best 11.32 100 meter dash in the Northeast Ohio Quad...earned his second letter.

2013-2014 Indoor (Sophomore): Placed second in the high jump at the Horizon League Championships with a leap of 2.04 meters…finished fifth in the long jump with a season-best bound of 6.79 meters at the HL meet...earned his second letter.

2013 Outdoor (Freshman): Won the high jump at the Horizon League Championships clearing a personal-best height of 2.07 meters...in the long jump was 11th with a leap of 6.23 meters...named the meet's Outstanding Male Field Newcomer...mark in the high jump is second best in school history...had a long of 6.25 meters in the long jump at the Northeast Ohio Invitational...placed sixth at the Jesse Owens Classic.

2012-13 Indoor (Freshman): Took first place in the high jump with a personal-best leap of 2.06 meters at the Horizon League Championships... placed ninth in the long jump with a distance of 6.40m at the HL Championships...named the meet's Outstanding Male Field Newcomer...had a long leap of 6.60 meters in long jump at the YSU Invitational...leap of 2.06 meters in the high jump is second best in school history just .02 meters off the school mark...placed second in the high jump at the YSU Invitational clearing the bar at 1.99m...was fourth at the Great Dane Classic in the high jump at 1.94 meters.

High School: Earned four letters...set the high jump record at 6-feet 10 and 1/4 inches...was a second-place finisher at the New Balance Indoor National Meet...was an indoor State Champion... Falcons were Federal League/All-American League champions...coaches were Andy DeNiro and Rich Kempe.

Personal: Son of Don and Shelly Jakovina...has a brother and a sister...major is business management.
