Endowed Athletic Scholarship Program
"Sustaining the Future for Penguin Student-Athletes"
An athletic endowment at Youngstown State University represents an everlasting commitment to the Penguins and ensures that quality student-athletes wear the Red & White of YSU for years to come. An endowment, invested in perpetuity, generates income to fund a scholarship according to the donor's wishes.
YSU's Endowed Athletic Scholarship Program offers a unique opportunity for alumni, friends, fans and corporations to name intercollegiate scholarships, thereby, leaving a lasting legacy to the program.
A $20,000 tax-deductible contribution, payable over a five-year period, will help generate revenue to fund YSU's Athletic Scholarships. Additions may be made to the principal in order to enhance its level over time.
