Men’s Basketball to Open 2026-27 Season at St. Bonaventure on Nov. 2

Youngstown, Ohio – Youngstown State men's basketball Head Coach Ethan Faulkner announced on Thursday the Penguins will open the 2026-27 season at St. Bonaventure on Monday, Nov. 2.
Game time and television assignment will be announced at a later date.
This marks the second straight year and the ninth time overall that the Penguins and Bonnie will meet. It also marks just the third meeting between the schools since 2005.
St. Bonaventure outlasted the Penguins, 84-80, in the last meeting between the teams at the Reilly Center on Nov. 15, 2025.
The Bonnies, who compete in the Atlantic-10 Conference, finished the 2025-26 campaign with a 17-17 overall record
Youngstown State's complete non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Penguins announced a matchup against Big Ten member Ohio State on Friday, Nov. 6 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.
