The Youngstown State women's tennis team had three student-athletes named to the Horizon League's Valeo All-Academic Team, the conference announced Thursday.
Yeseniia Ovcharova and Lorena Cedeno earned first-team honors, while Line Greyling was named an honorable mention, giving the Penguins multiple representatives on the list once again.
Cedeno earned back-to-back academic accolades after collecting her first as an honorable mention. Ovcharova and Greyling were selected for the first time in their careers.
This is the 14th consecutive year the program has had student-athletes named to the league's academic team.
In league play, Cedeno has won three out of four singles matches in straight sets and remains undefeated in doubles play. So far this spring, Ovcharova has gone undefeated in singles conference play and has won six straight matches dating back to March 20, all at No. 3.
Greyling has put together a career-best five-match winning streak in singles play.
YSU closes out the regular season this Saturday at Oakland, with first serve set for 3:30 p.m.
