The Youngstown State women's tennis team closes out non-league play on Friday and Saturday at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center. The Penguins play host to St. Bonaventure on Friday at 1 p.m. before hosting Mercyhurst at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

YSU enters the contests with a 5-9 overall record. The Bonnies are 1-13 while the Lakers are TBA. Mercyhurst plays Cleveland State on Thursday before taking on the Guins.

The Penguins were last in action on March 5 when they played at Long Beach State.

This spring, Lorena Cedeno has a team-best seven singles victories while Hanna Telzyska has six. In doubles play, Yoana Dudova and Telzynska are 6-3 at No. 1.

YSU has won three straight contests against St. Bonaventure with the last meeting being held on Feb. 26, 2021. The Guins only recorded dual match against Mercyhurst came on April 6, 1991.
