The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Western Michigan capping off a busy three-match in three-day stretch at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center.
The Penguins won two of three contests at home and are now 5-5 overall. Western Michigan improves to 7-4.
In doubles, the Penguins picked up a win at No. 1 as Yoana Dudova and Hanna Talzysnka earned a 6-3 victory.
In singles, Youngstown State picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.
At No. 1, Telzynska earned a 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 victory. At No. 2, Lorena Cedeno won in straight sets by a score of 6-3, 6-4.
Cedeno and Telzynska both went 3-0 in the past three contests.
YSU is back in action on Friday when it visits Toledo.
