Penguins Fall to UNLV in Vegas Finale

Las Vegas, Nevada – The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to UNLV on Sunday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Penguins picked up a pair of first set wins in singles action. At No. 3 singles, Yeseniia Ovcharova won her first set 7-6 while at No. 6 singles, Lydia Foster won by a 6-3 score.

The Guins won two of three matches on the Vegas trip and are 3-3 on the season. YSU beat Utah Tech and Weber State by 4-3 scores on its trip west.

YSU returns to action on Feb. 13 when it visits Buffalo.
