Youngstown State's Rafael Le Fur was named the Horizon League's Under Armour #HLTennis Singles Player of the Week following a strong two matches on the season's opening weekend.

Le Fur defeated UIC's Youssef Moktles at No. 4 singles as the Penguins rallied to beat the Flames 4-3 on Saturday. Against Moktles, Le Fur won his match 6-3, 6-3 as YSU won four singles contests to earn the team win. At Northwestern, Le Fur had a 7-5, 3-2 lead at No. 5 singles against Chad Miller when the contest was clinched.

The Guins play their first home contest of the year on Friday night when they play host to Le Moyne. First serve at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center is set for 6 p.m.
