Morgantown, W. Va. – The Youngstown State women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision in is season opener at West Virginia on Saturday at the Summit Tennis Academy.

In doubles, the Mountaineers picked up 6-2 and 6-2 wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. At No. 3 doubles, Lorena Cedeno and Lydia Foster held a 4-3 advantage before the point was clinched.

At No. 2 singles, Yeseniia Ovcharova dropped a tough 6-1, 7-5 decision at No. 2 singles while Yoana Dudova suffered a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 (2) defeat at No. 4 singles and Foster battled in a 6-4, 6-3 defeat. WVU won at No. 1, 6-2, 6-3, won at No. 3, 6-2, 6-0, won at No. 5, 6-3, 6-2 and
