Youngstown State's Line Greyling and Yeseniia Ovcharova picked up a pair of doubles wins on Sunday to claim the Horizon League Individual Championship in the event at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center.
The pair had to rally in both matches on the final morning.
In the finals, Greyling and Ovcharova overcame 5-3 and 6-4 deficits to beat Milwaukee's  Nel Van Hout and Emilia Durska 8-6 and win the championship.
In the semis, the duo jumped out to a 5-2 lead before Oakland's Edie Hammond and Emilia Javinen won the next five points taking a 7-5 lead. YSU closed within 7-6 and fought off three match points to force a tiebreaker.
In the tiebreaker, Oakland had winning opportunities at 6-4, 6-5, 8-7 and 9-8, but the YSU duo fought back each time. At 9-8, the Guins closed out the match scoring the final three points to advance to the finals.
In the other semifinal, Van Hout and Durska beat YSU's Lorena Cedeno and Lydia Foster by an 8-3 margin.
In singles, Sarah Partida Garcia closed out the event with a 1-6, 6-2, 10-7 consolation win.
YSU is back in action on Oct. 10-12 at the CSU Viking Invitational.
