The Youngstown State women's golf team will compete in six tournaments across four different states from late August to mid-October during the fall portion of its 2025-26 season. Head Coach Nate Miklos announced the team's complete fall schedule on Tuesday.
"We couldn't be more excited about our upcoming fall schedule," said Miklos. "Looking back at last season, one of the things I wanted to do was to improve the strength of our schedule and we were able to do that this fall. We have a great group returning and we're going to need to be ready as we'll open the season at Clemson University. This schedule will challenge us and give our team an opportunity to show what we can do on a much bigger stage."
YSU will open the 2025-26 campaign on Aug. 25 with the Clemson Tiger Classic at The Walker Course in Clemson, S.C. The Penguins will then return home to host the YSU Kickoff at Mill Creek Golf Course in Boardman, Ohio, on Sept. 1. Youngstown State will make the trip to Xenia, Ohio, for the Total Athlete Collegiate at the Country Club of the North on Sept. 8-9.
The Penguins will have their second home tournament of the fall slate on Sept. 21-22 when they play host to the 11th annual Roseann Schwartz Invitational at Mill Creek Golf Course in Boardman, Ohio. The event is named in honor of Roseann Schwartz, who was YSU's women's golf coach from the program's inception in 1996 until 2013. Schwartz was inducted into the YSU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2021.
The Penguins will travel to South Bend, Ind., for the Notre Dame Invitational at Warren Golf Course on Sept. 28 before concluding their fall slate on Oct. 18-19 with the Delaware Fall Invitational at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
