Youngstown, Ohio — Youngstown State fans can enjoy free and discounted tickets for the men's and women's basketball games on Jan. 7-8 through a partnership with 7 17 Credit Union.
Both games inside Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center will have a special start time of 7:17 p.m. as part of the partnership with 7 17 Credit Union, an official sponsor of YSU Athletics. The men will host Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday, Jan. 7, and the women will take on Northern Kentucky on Thursday, Jan. 8.
For the men's game on Jan. 7, fans can receive free upper reserved and general admission tickets, with a limit of two per person redeeming the offer in advance. Lower reserved seats for the contest will be $17. One lucky YSU student will have the chance to make a half-court shot for $717, and there will be free T-shirts and pizza for YSU students.
The same promotions will be in effect for the women's game against the Norse on Jan. 8, with the lone difference being lower reserved tickets costing $7.17. Discounted tickets for the women's contest must be purchased with a credit card.
Due to limited availability, fans are encouraged to pick up their free tickets in advance at the YSU Athletic Ticket Office in Stambaugh Stadium.
